Job Description
The Account Manager – Brazil is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key merchants and partners in the Brazilian market. The role ensures the delivery of value to existing accounts, drives incremental TPV growth, and identifies opportunities for cross-sell and upsell of AstroPay products (wallet, cards, FX, Pix for Foreigners). Acting as the main point of contact, the Account Manager bridges commercial, product, and operational needs, while also serving as a direct link between clients and the product team whenever required.

Strong client relationship skills are essential, as is the ability to understand customer needs. The role may involve travelling, tracking performance, contributing to forecasts, and providing market insights to support decision-making.

Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:

Account Growth & Revenue

  • Own a portfolio of key merchants and partners in Brazil, ensuring revenue growth and account satisfaction.
  • Drive TPV increase across managed accounts, identifying opportunities for higher volume penetration.
  • Support the adoption of new products within existing accounts.
  • Track performance, contribute to revenue forecasts, and provide market insights to support decision-making.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with merchants at multiple levels (commercial, operations, finance).
  • Serve as the main point of contact for escalations, troubleshooting, and strategic discussions.
  • Ensure proactive communication and alignment with client business objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Ops, Compliance, and Sales to deliver ongoing performance.
  • Feed client insights back into Product and Strategy teams to influence roadmap.

Performance Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze regional performance metrics, including revenue and conversion rates
  • Identify areas of improvement and collaborate with the team to optimize the regional growth process.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on regional growth performance and trends.

Client Relationship Building

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the assigned region. This includes travelling to help strengthen relationships and close deals.
  • Understand and address client needs, proactively resolving concerns, and providing solutions in alignment with their business objectives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for regional client issues and ensure prompt resolution.

Qualifications
Job Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in the payments or e-commerce industry is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of growing accounts and driving revenue.
  • Strong understanding of the Brazilian payments ecosystem (PIX, cards, remittances, wallets).
  • Understanding of regional sales and Account Management strategies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a regional perspective.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to make informed decisions at the regional level.
  • Experience collaborating with and supporting a diverse sales team.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships within the assigned region.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Speaks in Portuguese, English, and preferably Spanish
