The Communication and Editor Specialist is responsible for developing, writing, and editing high-quality content that effectively communicates RC QM messages to both internal and external audiences. This role requires a strong combination of strategic communication planning, technical writing and editing skills, and a detail-oriented approach. This person will ensure all content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the company's brand voice and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and proofread a wide range of communication materials.
  • Develop and manage content calendars to ensure a steady and timely flow of information across all channels.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather information and create material that align with business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary editor for RC QM communications, ensuring grammar, spelling, and style are consistent and error-free.
  • Fact-check and verify information to ensure accuracy and credibility in all published materials.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive communication strategies for key initiatives and campaigns.
  • Manage and create content for internal platforms, monitoring engagement and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Support internal communications, including drafting memos, presentations, and employee newsletters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in communications, writing, or editing role.
  • Technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar and style.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
