We are looking for an Safety Technician to join our team Based in Joinville , Brazil, reporting to the HSE Mananger, assist in activities related to work safety, contributing to studies and analyzes of conditions that control and reduce the risk of accidents, in accordance with specific legislation and company rules and guidelines Roles & Responsibilities: Participate in control services, supporting property security work, concierge and documents for restricted use of the outpatient environment Participate in inspections at workplaces and other unit facilities, identifying dangerous conditions, suggesting measures to eliminate risks, reporting and guiding workers in order to eliminate unsafe conditions and acts Contribute to research and analysis of the causes of occupational diseases and the environmental conditions in which they occurred, suggesting measures within the standards required by law, with a view to preventing their recurrence, as well as correcting the unhealthy conditions that cause these diseases Monitor restaurant, surveillance and concierge services, with a view to ensuring good service to the internal public and visitors Collaborate with CIPA in its programs, studying its observations and propositions, for forwarding corrective and preventive suggestions/solutions for accidents at work Participate in analysis and investigation of accidents, inspect the site and describe and submit to the appreciation of those responsible for the necessary measures Control and maintain fire-fighting equipment in perfect conditions of use, checking its distribution in the unit's premises and alerting for maintenance and recharge Guide workers and/or third parties in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as distribute the equipment corresponding to each area/worker, in accordance with the guidelines received Monitor the cataloging and execution processes of signs, posters or safety signs and provide warning signs, allusive posters and risk maps Carry out surveys and statistical studies regarding accidents at work, professional and work-related illnesses, preparing statements of causes and severity, aiming to support the adoption of preventive measures Participate in the preparation of courses and lectures on safety, firefighting and first aid Ensure that conservation, cleaning and hygiene procedures are observed in the work area, as well as guide third parties in complying with safety, discipline and accident prevention standards Establish, implement, maintain and evaluate the HSE MS, in accordance with the Prysmian group HSE MS, and the ISO 14001 and OHSAS standards; Professional and operational support to managers, employees and contractors in relation to HSE, their tasks and responsibilities; Evaluate HSE investments; Promote HSE awareness throughout the organization; Report HSE MS performance to plant management for review and for use as a basis for system improvement.Who are we looking for?   • Complete secondary and technical education in Occupational Safety.
Knowledge of the intermediary office package is required, knowledge of the SAP system.
