Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist for Immigration Law Firm

The Immigration Professor is a growing immigration law firm based in Los Angeles that celebrated its 30th year of operation in 2024. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic office where your contributions can directly impact the success of our firm and our clients.
The position is full-time and fully remote.
We are currently seeking an insurance billing and accounts receivable specialist to add to our staff. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of two years of experience billing medical or legal insurance and a minimum of two years of experience in managing accounts receivables. Candidates with experience in either or both of these roles at an immigration law firm will be given preference. The role is an excellent match for candidates who are thorough, systematic, and methodical in their work style.

Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in billing insurance
- Minimum of two years of experience in accounts receivable management
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Strong technical skills - the position is fully remote
Desired but not required
- Experience in US immigration law
- Experience in insurance billing and accounts receivable management at an immigration law firm
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish/Portuguese
- Experience with the following software: Dropbox, Lawmatics, and MyCase
