Role Summary
We're looking for a seasoned executive to lead new business growth for global SVOD platform distribution and telco/aggregator partnerships. This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and closing distribution, bundling, and direct carrier billing (DCB) opportunities, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure commercial, technical, legal, and marketing readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and close distribution deals with platforms (e.g., Globo, Claro, OEM app stores, CTV, DCB content aggregators).
- Define launch plans including pricing, offers, merchandising, KPIs (subscriptions, churn, ARPU, attach).
- Build business cases and negotiate favorable terms (rev-share, data access, reporting, SLAs).
- Manage partnerships with DCB aggregators and Pay-TV/ISP bundling.
- Maintain a healthy 4× pipeline from prospecting to close.
- Coordinate RFPs/RFIs and partner diligence; secure internal approvals with Finance, Legal, Product, Marketing.
- Draft deal memos, term sheets, and negotiation support docs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and partner growth strategies.
- Negotiate commercial terms and renewals; ensure compliance with local data/privacy standards.
- Translate contracts into deliverables and coordinate execution across teams.
- 6+ signed new agreements within 12 months, including at least 2 in Brazil.
Required:
- Experience in business development and partnerships within streaming, gaming, or telecom.
- Proven success in SVOD/CTV and telco distribution deals (DCB, co-branded offers, joint marketing).
- Strong deal modeling and P&L literacy.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or JD preferred.
