About the Team
The
Mortgage Ops For Sales
team is responsible for structuring, scaling, and optimizing the end-to-end mortgage process for customers purchasing properties. As we evolve our organization to become more strategic and analytical, we are seeking a
Strategy Operations Manager
to lead and advance the initiatives that drive our growth. This person will be responsible for managing high-impact strategic projects with an AI-first mindset, while also transforming our current, largely manual and unstructured operations into efficient, scalable systems. The goal is to deliver superior funnel conversion and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is equally strong in execution, thrives in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and leadership. They must be able to dive deep into a few structural projects while managing multiple stakeholders (e.g., P&T, Data, Agents, BizOps). Most importantly, this person should act as a true growth enabler, ensuring that Mortgage deliver the key projects necessary to achieve the company's OKRs. This role will be primarily an individual contributor, with 2–4 direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Projects execution

  • Lead the scoping, planning, and execution of high-impact projects—from funnel improvements to go-to-market models and AI initiatives —ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
  • Own and drive the strategic roadmap for the Mortgage organization, ensuring that all key initiatives are aligned with the area objectives and the company's OKRs.
  • Act as a force multiplier for the business by identifying growth opportunities, removing blockers, and ensuring that strategic priorities translate into measurable field impact.

Analytical deepness

  • Break down complex business problems into structured components, formulate hypotheses, and design analyses that lead to actionable insights.
  • Leverage data to identify root causes, size opportunities, and guide decision-making across the funnel—from lead generation to closing.
  • Raise the analytical bar of the Mortgage organization by developing frameworks, performance rituals, and best practices that embed data-driven thinking into day-to-day operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Tech, Commercial, and BizOps teams to align operations with strategic goals and initiatives and enable end-to-end execution.
  • Act as a strategic connector between functions to ensure speed, consistency, and clarity across all initiatives.

Strategic Communication

  • Communicate clearly and intentionally across teams and levels—translating complex ideas into actionable plans.
  • Align internal stakeholders and promote operational clarity and focus across the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    8–10 years of experience in strategy, operations, or business roles within tech, marketplaces, real estate, consulting, or other high-growth environments. Prior experience leading cross-functional projects and scaling operational models is highly valued.
  • Strategic Execution:
    Proven track record of owning and executing complex initiatives—from strategy through implementation—with high quality and business impact.
  • Analytical Rigor:
    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deconstruct ambiguous challenges, run data-driven analyses, and develop clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Leadership & Influence:
    Experience leading small teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders across different seniority levels. Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving alignment in dynamic environments.
  • Collaboration:
    Demonstrated ability to work across Product, Tech, BizOps, and Sales to deliver outcomes and move initiatives forward at pace.
  • Communication:
    Clear and structured communicator, capable of tailoring messages to different audiences and driving alignment through storytelling and insight.
  • Growth Mindset & Ownership:
    Entrepreneurial spirit with a high sense of ownership, urgency, and bias for action. Comfortable operating with autonomy while maintaining accountability.
  • Languages:
    Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
