Title:    Senior HR Business Partner, Brazil

Reports to: Director Human Resources, Americas

Summary:

A strategic and hands-on role that provides full Human Resources support to the Hollister Brazil Business Unit. Responsible for the design, planning and implementation of HR programs, policies and procedures compatible with Hollister's Mission, Vision and People Strategy.  Responsible for providing outstanding internal customer support, driving HR functional excellence and overall process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted advisor to People Leaders in all aspects of HR
  • Strategically implement key HR programs in alignment with global HR strategy, including Succession Planning, Development, Performance Management and Associate Experience Surveys
  • Be a key member and contribute to the Brazil Leadership team
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Centers of Expertise - Talent & Organizational Effectiveness and Total Rewards on key local initiatives 
  • Lead the recruitment and onboarding processes to meet the workforce planning needs of the Brazil team
  • Effectively communicate policies, procedures and standards to new and existing Associates
  • Conduct training on a variety of initiatives, inlcuding our Culture and key people processes
  • Coach and guide people leaders and associates on employee relations matters
  • Partner with Finance on the management and processing of payroll
  • Administer benefit & wellness programs to maximize associate understanding of and participation in our Hollister programs
  • Plan and manage a HR budget to meet the needs of the Brazil BU
  • Maintain a network of external contacts appropriate to support Hollister business needs (e.g. HR trends, employment legislation changes)
  • Effectively utilize our HR system and coach leaders on the use of same, regularly auditing data for accuracy
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Work Experience Requirements


• Number of Overall Years Necessary: 8-12


• HR Generalist / Business Partner experience

Education Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (required)


• MBA or Master's degree (preferred)

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:


• Strong understanding of Brazil labor law


• Ability to interact with internal and external legal counsel


• Recruiting/staffing


• Organizational development

• Global HR trends and practices


• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Local Language Specifications: Portuguese and English required; Spanish preferred
