Casting Networks, part of Talent Systems, is looking for a hands-on, product-minded engineering leader to lead our product engineering team in Brazil. This is a pivotal role that combines strong technical leadership with cross-functional collaboration and customer focus.
Youll be responsible for building high-impact product features, leading a globally distributed team, and collaborating with stakeholders from Product, UX, Platform Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams. Your mission: accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and scalability.
What You'll Do- Lead the engineering team for the Casting Networks product, shaping features used by actors, casting directors, and agents around the world.
- Build and scale intuitive, performant, and reliable experiences across web platforms.
- Partner with Product and UX to deliver value with speed and predictability.
- Mentor and grow a distributed team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering to leverage shared infrastructure and ensure clean integration.
- Champion Agile best practices and push for continuous improvement.
- 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5+ in engineering leadership roles.
- Proven experience building and scaling product teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong background with TypeScript, React, , PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and AWS.
- Customer-obsessed mindset and strong alignment with product and UX principles.
- Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a distributed, international team and overlapping time zones.
