Recruiting Manager – Remote-first at Darkroom, a growth-stage marketing agency focused on consumer brands.We build AI-driven commerce services and serve high-growth clients across e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, and social platforms.As a Recruiting Manager you will lead and scale our talent acquisition team to support Darkroom's ambitious growth objectives.ResponsibilitiesLead the recruiting team, coordinating daily activities, priorities, and resources to ensure alignment with company objectives and hiring targets.Serve as the single point of contact for senior leadership, providing regular updates, strategic insights, and recommendations on hiring status, market conditions, and talent pipeline health.Own delivery of the overall hiring plan, proactively ensuring all open positions are filled on time, managing requisition load, and balancing team effort across Engineering, Product, G&A, and Sales.Continuously evaluate and refine end-to-end recruitment processes, tools, and systems to maximize efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring quality.Develop and present key recruiting metrics, reports, and dashboards to senior leadership, leveraging data to drive decision-making and forecast hiring needs.Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, sourcing partners, and vendors as needed.Mentor, coach, and develop the recruiting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, high performance, and deep business acumen.QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with at least 2 years of managing a recruiting team.Proven ability to lead and motivate a high-performing recruiting team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and articulate hiring strategy and data to executive-level stakeholders.Strategic mindset: demonstrated experience translating business objectives into tactical recruiting strategies and operational plans.Process acumen: deep understanding of full-cycle recruiting, best practices, and ability to implement effective sourcing, interviewing, and closing strategies.System knowledge: proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse or Lever and experience using data visualization/reporting tools.Compliance: strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations related to hiring.BenefitsRemote-first culture with hubs in Bay Area, New York, Philly, Lisbon, Sao Paulo, and Barcelona.Hybrid model required for NYC and Lisbon applicants.Generous paid time off policy and flexible parental leave benefits.Company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision benefits.Opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and skill growth beyond the recruiting function.High-bar performance culture with autonomy, truth, and outcome focus.Equal Opportunity StatementDarkroom is an equal-opportunity workplace.We consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or veteran status.We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal history, consistent with legal requirements.#J-*****-Ljbffr
