pool for future opportunities.Job SummaryThe Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.This role works closely with Branch Managers and Account Managers to deliver tailored service portfolios that maximize profitability and client satisfaction.QualificationsEducation & KnowledgeBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Horticulture, or related fieldExperience5+ years of related work experience3+ years of B2B sales experienceExperience working with commercial property managers a strong plusLicenses & CertificationsValid driver's license (required)Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) or other relevant licenses a plusSkills & AbilitiesStrong customer service and relationship-building skillsExcellent oral and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel extensively within assigned territoryStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasksIntermediate understanding of CRM software (Salesforce preferred)Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookAnalytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret business periodicals and client RFPsAbility to read, write, and comprehend EnglishDevelop new business opportunities through cold-calling, market research, internal lead development, and networkingPartner with Branch Managers and Account Managers to design and present service portfolios that meet client needsPrepare and deliver accurate job estimates and bid proposals, including scope of work, labor, and materialsRespond to client RFPs in a timely and professional mannerAttend pre-bid meetings, proposal presentations, trade shows, and industry association eventsBuild and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and generate additional salesManage opportunities through Salesforce for full visibility of sales pipeline and activitiesFacilitate smooth handoff from sales to operations by coordinating client introductions and site walkthroughsManage assigned sales promotions budget effectivelyMeet or exceed annual sales targetsParticipate in staff and sales meetings to align with company strategyPerform other duties as assignedPhysical Demands & Working ConditionsRegularly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand, and walkFrequent reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, crouching, climbing, and balancingFrequent use of hands to handle tools, equipment,
