**Summary**
We ´re pleased to announce the posting of a Global Academic Program Manager position, to be filled as soon as possible.
The Global Academic Program Manager will be responsible for establishing and fostering relationships with higher education stakeholders (e.g. faculty members, students, administrators) in Brazil to maximize the use of SAS software in teaching and learning.
The focus is on the adoption of SAS in curriculum to support development of SAS users of the future and connecting programs using SAS software to customers for employment.
- Prior experience as a faculty member, an administrator, officer, graduate researcher or teaching assistant, curriculum development expert, or a closely related profession within higher education.
Experience must be with public or private-not-for-profit institutions.
- A strong working knowledge of higher education, including, but not limited to, faculty ranks, administration, as well as relevant structures within higher education, and some knowledge of influential external non-profit stakeholders.
- Ability to foster, curate, and sustain academic and commercial connections, create best practices, and take these practices to scale are essential to this position.
- A willingness to become an expert in higher education and develop knowledge in analytics.
Interest in cultivating relationships with faculty and other key academic and industry stakeholders.
**Primary Responsibilities**
he development of these relationships allows the Program Manager to build a unique understanding of academic needs and use this knowledge to serve in a consultative capacity in the following ways:
- Develop strategy to maximize SAS integration into post-secondary curricula.
- Collaborate with the certification team to increase skill verification opportunities for students.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build strategic relationships and scale initiatives, build academia-industry relationships, among others.
- Maintain up-to-date tracking of all activities and initiatives annually and prepare reports for management as needed.
- Provide feedback on SAS solutions and services related to academic community,
- Deliver internal and external presentations on SAS software, resources, and demand for SAS skill.
- Provide guidance on in-demand teaching and learning content, such as e-learning, applied learning activities, guided practice sets, and independent studies.
The Global Academic Program Manager will also support or lead one or more initiatives which align with team level goals and objectives.
Examples of these initiatives include:
- Collaboratively develop, implement, grow, and evaluate a program that leverages expertise across SAS to support academic speaking engagements.
- Develop and implement approach to increase outreach efforts to academic institutions.

Prior experience using SPSS, Stata, R, or Python is also valued.

**Position Classification**
**Education**
Finished or equivalent (Bachelor Degree / Graduação).
Preferred Master's degree (Mestrado) or higher (Doutorado) in Analytics, Business, Marketing, Social Science, Health Sciences, Computer Science or a related field.
**Languages**
Proficient in English, able to have a business conversation.
Preferred proficiency in Portuguese and strong understanding of Spanish to establish conversations with other team members in the region.
