Product Specialist

**THE ROLE**
As** Product Specialist**, you will shape the SAP Concur TripLink vision and roadmap, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver the next generation of Travel solutions.
As a product specialist you will become a domain expert, and will be responsible for overall product guidance, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
In this role, you work closely with an incredible team of engineers, product managers, and partner enablement teams to define, support and deliver a world class travel product.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Product management of product initiatives and features that will shape SAP Concur TripLink
- Drive the success, quality, priority and delivery of a product feature through the entire product lifecycle
- Prioritize and describe the product backlog
- Conduct analysis and design activities for the TripLink customer and travel partner/supplier initiatives
- Work with your team to build, launch, implement, and support product initiatives that will improve customer and travel partner/supplier experiences
- Work across product and engineering teams to facilitate the launch and release of new features and product enhancements
- Communicate requirements, status updates, milestones and features for technical and non-technical team members and partners
- Support the product roadmap based delivering project milestones and understanding the needs of Concur, our travel partners/suppliers and customers
- Build meaningful and productive relationships with product team members, travel partners, development teams and stakeholders
- Measure, evaluate and report on key performance indicators to determine roadmap priorities, product direction and health
- Ensure definition of high-quality specifications according to customer, partner and user requirements
- Conduct analysis and deep dives to measure the efficacy of product improvements
**IN THE FIRST 12 MONTHS IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:
- Help launch new product functionality that will increase customer adoption and usage
- Develop an understanding of existing travel partner implementations and, in partnership with technical leadership, support a roadmap for enhancements, new integrations or perhaps migrations from legacy services.
- Influence externally and internally at all levels, secure buy-in, and drive successful execution of complicated projects across teams and time zones.
- Foster technical relationships with peers at external stakeholders, including data providers and travel suppliers.
- Develop an understanding of Concur external APIs and services to help work toward a consistent experience for our partners
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Good product management experience with cloud, enterprise SaaS products
- Knowledge and practice of agile methodologies and collaboration with cross functional engineering teams
- Working knowledge of API development, management and support, previous experience in developing or supporting API or partner integrations is a plus.
- Experience supporting product roadmaps through the entire product lifecycle
- Ability to collaborate and advocate for different viewpoints and influence with urgency and without direct authority
- Experiencing analyzing product metrics, monitoring dashboards and other tools to provide performance insights
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), good problem-solving skills, ability to work with technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working on large, diverse, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to work with external partners and represent SAP Concur in a professional and technical capacity
- Knowledge of travel and expense management and domain expertise is a plus
- Fluent business English
