The role involves managing a team of carrier management specialists, monitoring Amazon Logistics carriers performance, and coordinating capacity planning with internal and external stakeholders.
The position requires a broad view of customer experience, ownership, and the ability to identify patterns and propose solutions to deviations.Key responsibilitiesSelect, train and manage carrier relationship specialistsAccumulate data from various sources, identify relevant data, and present it to support actionForecast implications based on current data and trends and take necessary actionsBe organized, proactive, and communicate situations clearly and promptlyServe as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, respecting objectives, limits, conformance, and information privacyDive deep into root causes of operational issuesCreate and track operational metricsWilling to work during weekends/holidaysBasic QualificationsBachelor\'s degree or equivalentFlexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysEmployee and performance management experiencePrevious experience in last mile transportation/account managementMS Office experience with advanced ExcelFluent English, both oral and writtenPreferred QualificationsPerformance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experienceBachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics or similarSQL or other programming languageOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
