Our people enable continuous progress.Their commitment, collective expertise, and unique capabilities are the engine room behind SBM Offshore's .Now, see how a role change can develop you, and us, even more.As part of the SBM Offshore Development cycle and Succession Planning activities, we kindly inform you that a preferred candidate has been identified.At the same time, we are open to receiving your application.About Us:SBM Offshore is the world's deepwater ocean-infrastructure expert.Our work is already resulting in cleaner, more efficient energy production in offshore oil and gas.is our promise.It means continuing to enable decarbonization and support the energy transition, while diversifying our unique capabilities to help more blue economy industries grow and thrive sustainably.Through our strategy of Advancing Our Core and Pioneering More and our values of Care, Integrity, Collaboration, and Ownership, we are sharing our experience for a better blue tomorrow.PurposeAs Expeditor, you are responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment necessary for projects and operations.This involves coordinating with suppliers, monitoring shipment schedules, and mitigating delays to keep Purchase Order delivery on track.Responsibilities· Supply Chain Coordination: You work closely with suppliers to confirm order details, shipping dates, and delivery times.· Schedule Monitoring: You track the status of orders and expedite deliveries by addressing potential delays proactively.· Communication: You maintain regular communication with project management and operations teams, project procurement leads, project engineers, and logistics personnel to provide updates on manufacturing status.· Documentation: You ensure all shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates, are accurate and complete.· Problem Resolution: You identify and resolve issues that could impact the delivery schedule.· Vendor Management: You evaluate supplier performance and work with vendors to improve delivery times and reliability.You review vendor progress report from supplier and address identified issues.EducationBachelor's Degree (preferred but not always required): ideally a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience· Strong organizational and time-management skills.· Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.· Understanding of the oil and gas industry supply chain.· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Functional CompetenciesExpeditingAnalytics and reportingLogisticsQuality Control PlansInspection, testing, commissioning and monitoringSBM Product KnowledgePurchasing Tools and ProcessesPackage ManagementThird parties relation managementNegotiation
