Founded in 2007, we have positioned ourselves as a large BIM production service provider in the United States, with experience across MEP Modeling, VDC/BIM Management, Laser Scanning, and Scan to BIM services.The RoleThe BIM Specialist role involves modeling of different trades (MEP) depending on project scope, with emphasis on quality, autonomy, and coordination.
Responsibilities include identifying potential conflicts during information review and throughout modeling and coordination phases to support the client and project team.Responsibilities include:Modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential construction, including process piping, ductwork, sheet metal, mechanical equipment (pumps, AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers), and related plumbing systems (domestic water, sanitary drainage, gray water, stormwater, medical gases, compressed air lines, pumps, heaters, and hangers).
Coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks (Revizto acceptable but Navisworks prioritized); BIM coordination, clash reports, QAQC, and ensuring model accuracy.Holding a mechanical or civil engineering bachelor's degree (architects considered with extensive MEP modeling and coordination experience).
Minimum mandatory requirements include:Excellent level of English (spoken and written) required; candidates must be able to converse fluently with native and non-native speakers.
Candidates without this requirement will NOT be considered.Solid experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for the specified sectors as described above.Experience coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks; knowledge of BIM coordination, clash reports, QAQC, and model accuracy.Experience with Level Of Detail (LOD) 400 and projects based in the US, or constructability knowledge related to the US market.Desirable/Additional requirements include:Familiarity with BIM add-ins (e.g., Evolve, SysQue, Fabrication Parts).
Experience in conceptual design / BIM Design Assist.AutoCAD Plant 3D knowledge.Dynamo/Python knowledge applied to BIM.On-site/field experience.Ability to produce detailed models with real-world fittings and connection types.Note: If you don't have formal job experience with Revit or enough English level, please refrain from applying.Who we areENG (engbim.com) is a BIM company that specializes in hands-on, field-focused BIM services.
