Company OverviewLEDN is a global financial services company built for digital assets, helping to improve the everyday lives of Bitcoin holders while building generational wealth for the future.We offer a suite of egalitarian lending, savings and trading products to digital asset holders in over 150 countries around the world.Through our products & services, we can make a difference in the lives and futures of our clients – in real terms.The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT.About The RoleThe ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many different hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools.A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar role(s) in rapidly growing, security-first, environments.The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, but is also equally passionate about helping end users who are in need of help.ResponsibilitiesCustomer-facing, first line of support; own support and provide an outstanding support experience to employees via Slack, Jira, etc.Procure and deliver technology equipment.Own the experience of tech onboarding for all new employees and tech retrieval of all outgoing employees.Design, test, build, and document programs and policies and tools, and contribute improvements to existing knowledge.Support and manage SaaS applications – Google Workspace (GSuite), Slack, Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.Work with and manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools – MDM, EMM, Jamf, etc.Contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta, etc.)Detail your solutions, craft help articles and automate busywork.Manage, respond to, and fix critical incidents and issues as needed, through to completion.Prioritise help desk tickets effectively.Work on projects over sprints, and detail your work in tools like Jira (experienced with agile methods and sprints).Set and work to your own objective and key results with minimal direction, and can align them to the team and the company goals.Qualifications7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite.Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, python, etc.Ability to utilize open source tools such as Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.Integrate SSO into Okta, create workflows in Okta.Work with APIs and integrate one system to another.Remote support to people in multiple countries, across time zones, and familiarity with shipping and receiving hardware and customs.Excellent communication skills across all media – clear and friendly writing in tickets, email or Slack, sensitive to different cultures.Desire to provide a magical experience for others – when they win, you win.Take security seriously and understand PGP.Understand networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching.Competently know troubleshooting steps and layers of the OSI model, methodically troubleshoot problems without wasting someone's time.Self-manage, accurately scope projects, priorities, and work across multiple teams.Strong organisational and task-management skills are critical.Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and sometimes making the right decision without all the data.Nice to HavesSome familiarity with AWS (you will not need certifications, but you will have used these environments a bit).Used tools like GAM and command-line interfaces to do lots of work with less effort.Jamf certifications, Okta certifications, Google Workspace certifications.Culture FitWe want a leader who thrives in the startup or tech environment and embodies our values.The ideal candidate will have a passion for progress by being adaptable and resilient, be comfortable navigating ambiguity in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, have a builder's mindset excited to create, iterate, and scale IT practices, be a collaborative partner able to influence across functions and cultures with empathy and clarity, demonstrate integrity and accountability especially in managing confidential information across diverse legal and cultural contexts, and have worked in a remote environment before.A Taste Of What We ProvideAs one of the world's leading digital asset companies, we provide tremendous growth opportunities.We offer a competitive PTO package, shared equity through our equity plan, the opportunity to work remotely anywhere in the world for up to 180 days (subject to restrictions), and a career that provides purpose in your job.We are an equal-opportunity employment organization and pride ourselves on inclusivity, diversity, and the success that comes from diversity.Requests for accommodation throughout all stages of the recruitment process will be addressed confidentially.Job DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Information TechnologyIndustry: Retail#J-*****-Ljbffr
