We are now looking for a **Collections Manager** who is able to control performance, understands numbers and has empathy towards the team and individuals.
The location is São Paolo, Brazil.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead, develop and motivate a team of collection officers with the aim of delivering high efficiency and performance
- Ensure best practice sharing within the overall service unit (centralized team)
- Display deep understanding of collections processes, legislation & regulations and industry best practices
- Monitor team ´s and system ´s performance ensuring high quality and company protocols are in place
- Preparing, analyzing and delivering reporting and actions / recommendations on risk, performance, challenges to internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct / add relevant input in the regular workshops together with the Collections Leadership team to drive process improvement and innovation
- Regular checks to improve procedures' effectiveness through A/B testing and latest market trends implementation
- Support the Line Manager with know-how and insights of the market
- Ad-hoc tasks and activities given by the Line Manager
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of work experience in leading teams and driving performance in collections, operations, contact centers or related industry
- Strong negotiation skills and fluent in English and Portugese
- Proven ability to work effectively with individual contributors, management and cross departments
- Working experience in an international environment
