After a successful launch in Brazil, we are now expanding to Mexico to bring seamless wholesale trade to new markets.JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, an international tech-centric group of e-commerce companies founded in 2016 in Latvia.
Joom Group also includes other businesses: Joom, a platform for global shopping; JoomPulse, a data platform that provides analytics and recommendations for marketplace sellers; and Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany.
Joom Group has offices in Latvia, China, Portugal, Germany, and Brazil, with its headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal.
We work as one international team, sharing knowledge and collaborating across countries, businesses and products.Right now we are looking for a Country Manager Brazil to lead our local operations and drive exponential GMV growth in this key market.ResponsibilitiesAchieve exponential GMV growth in the Brazilian market, along with other key commercial metrics growth (contribution margin, NPS, retention rate)Identify and launch new services that add value to Brazilian customersManage the local marketing, logistics, and commercial teams, with a strong focus on the client service and sales operationsDrive team engagement and accountability - ensure that JoomPro's values, working style, and processes are embedded in day-to-day operationsMaintain strong coordination between the Brazil office and HQMonitor local market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapeDevelop strategic partnerships that strengthen JoomPro's position in the local ecosystemRequirementsProven experience managing a local business or business unit within an international companyIn-depth knowledge of the Brazilian market, supported by hands-on experience operating in the region at a managerial positionStrong leadership and team development skills (with teams of 20+ people)Experience enforcing internal processes and client service standardsBusiness development and negotiations skillsComfortable working in cross-functional and distributed teamsFluent in Portuguese and EnglishBased in Brazil or ready to relocate (São Paulo)We offerCompensation package: base salary and performance-based bonuses, CLT employment; relocation to Sao Paulo provided if neededOffice-first: flexible hours with a possibility to work remotely 52 days per year, and 30 days of paid annual leaveCare & Wellbeing: extended health insurance for the employees, their spouses, and children (including dental care), transportation and daily meal allowance, and 100% paid sick leaveTeam & Growth: collaboration with colleagues across Portugal, Brazil, Latvia and China, with opportunities for promotions, professional trainings, and English coursesCommunity & Engagement: annual team building activities, knowledge-sharing workshops, and a strong sense of team workBefore applying for the above position please review our Candidate Privacy Notice here: ...
