This is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, and the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region.
A valid driver\'s license is essential for this role.
The role includes a pathway to become a Mapping Specialist through a structured 6-8 month training program.
Experienced clinical professionals joining as Clinical Specialists will have the opportunity to gain deep expertise in mapping systems and complex ablation procedures, positioning them as advanced clinical leaders in the field.
This is an ideal opportunity to expand your clinical impact and grow within Medtronic\'s Cardiac Ablation Solutions team.
The position posting is location flexible and can be based in AL, GA or Northern Florida.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist the Region in meeting Cardiac Ablation Solutions sales and customer service objectives.Represents Medtronic CAS during ablations procedures to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance.Receive technical inquiries by customers and research solutions to questions or problems (e.g., Catheter, Console, Generator support).
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to AFS products and related procedures.Assist RM and the field training department in educating/training new Clinical Specialists and Account Managers.Provide training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel.Provide Sales Support to help influence revenue growth within the region.Update sales representatives concerning procedures and immediately notify Account Manager regarding issues or problems requiring follow-up.Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.Understand national, regional and territory sales objectives and work in partnership with Account Manager to achieve exceed goals.QualificationsMust Have Minimum RequirementsHigh School diploma PLUS a minimum 6 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac fieldOR Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 4 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac fieldOR Bachelor degree PLUS a minimum 2 years work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac fieldPreferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to local qualified candidates and candidates with Medtronic experienceB.A.
/B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years\' work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or salesPacing school/ATI-like training program in addition to BQsProven track record with technical training assignmentsExperience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical / clinical supportAdditional Job Requirements:Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiationClinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs ariseClinical Specialists will on occasion be required to travel outside of their assigned territory and possibly overnightMust have a valid driver\'s licenseAbility to freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, visually able to interact with personal computersMust be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a dayMust be able to drive approximately 75% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travelMust have a valid driver\'s license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed as part of the applicationBenefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package.
Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excl. PR) are $90,000.00 - $110,000.00.
The base salary range applies across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and certain locations in California, and may vary based on experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
This position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
