Editorial Role in BrazilThis high-impact editorial position offers growth potential in a leading international events and media organization.Key Responsibilities:Oversee content for the regional brand to become the leading source of industry news.Develop the editorial voice, create/upload articles and features, and set the content agenda in line with house style.Analyze performance using analytics and dashboards to monitor KPIs, optimize content, and grow audience reach.Contribute to multimedia projects, including podcasts, video content, and other initiatives.Support audience strategy for initiatives to expand and engage the target audience.Lead content management systems, ensuring accuracy, SEO optimization, and timely publication.Manage HubSpot to keep media contacts updated and organized.Mitigate risks through thorough fact-checking, verification of sources, and minimization of legal or reputational risks.Maintain B2B sites to ensure accuracy, updates, and freedom from errors or dead links.Participate in events, including press launches, conferences, and exhibitions, with opportunities for international travel.Build relationships with stakeholders and represent the company positively at industry events.Collaborate with the events team to shape conference agendas and identify high-value speakers.Pursue opportunities to drive revenue, improve efficiency, and enhance client service.Investigate stories through press releases, contacts, and proactive research.Requirements:Must be based in Brazil.Bachelor's degree in Journalism.Proven experience as an Editor in a B2B environment.Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Proficiency with content management systems (CMS).
Familiarity with SEO and social media best practices.Excellent English writing skills with attention to detail.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver under tight deadlines.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to provide constructive feedback and manage editorial standards.Creative and analytical mindset with a strong sense of story angles.Nice to Have:Interest in the sports betting and gambling industries.Fluency in Spanish.Experience in B2C editorial environments.
