Strategic Accounting Leader

Job DescriptionAs a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing end-to-end accounting operations across multiple centers and leading the transition from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite.This is a high-impact role where you will combine hands-on accounting with process improvement, helping the organization scale as it continues to expand its footprint.This position requires a strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards, as well as proficiency in NetSuite.You will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting operations, preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules, and maintaining and updating loan schedules, insurance allocations, and related entries across operating entities.You will also be responsible for categorizing transactions in Ramp, Brex, and other systems, providing financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making, and continuously improving accounting processes and leveraging NetSuite functionality for efficiency gains.Manage full-cycle accounting operations: general ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end closePrepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and supporting schedulesMaintain and update loan schedules, insurance allocations, and related entries across operating entitiesCategorize transactions in Ramp, Brex, and other systemsRequired Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:CPA or equivalent certification preferred5+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standardsProficiency in NetSuiteFamiliarity with QuickBooks Online and transition projects from QBO to NetSuite preferredBenefitsWe offer competitive compensation and benefits, including:100% Remote work arrangementHigh-impact role supporting a fast-growing education services companyCompetitive compensation aligned with global opportunitiesWhy Join Through MAVI?By joining through MAVI, you will have access to:A network of top finance & accounting professionalsAccess to high-impact opportunities at US companiesOpportunities for growth and development within the MAVI network
