The Field Service Engineer is responsible for daily service support of the existing customer base, for supporting sales growth, service growth and customer satisfaction.
Field Service Engineers are responsible for repair, installation, and maintenance of Beckman Coulter equipment at customer sites.
This position reports to the Service Supervisor and is part of the Service organization located in Brazil and will be fully remote.Beckman Coulter Life Sciences believes in designing a better, more sustainable workforce and offers flexible, remote working arrangements for eligible roles.
This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement.
Additional information about this remote work arrangement will be provided by your interview team.ResponsibilitiesBuild KPIs to constantly challenge your individual performance to meet the service targets established as part of the performance objectivesPromote strong interaction with operational areas of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences – Applications, Marketing & Administration and SalesEstablish and maintain relationships at all levels with customers to leverage contacts, information and maximize their experienceEssential requirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Biological3+ years of prior field service experience in diagnostics / research fieldFluency in English (written and conversational) and valid visa for the USATravel, motor vehicle and physical/environment requirementsAble to travel 50-75% of the time (mostly domestic within Brazil, eventually for the US for training)Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to lift up to 66 pounds (about 30 kg)Preferred experienceFlow CytometryLiquid HandlingCentrifugeBenefitsBeckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
