Email Retention StrategistThis leadership role requires a highly experienced professional to develop and execute an email retention strategy, defining the approach, setting goals, building systems and processes, hiring specialists for delivery, managing client communication and reporting, driving growth and performance, scaling profitably, and meeting with senior leadership.The ideal candidate has led email/SMS at an agency or multiple brands, can build offers and systems, knows segmentation, flows, deliverability, and reporting, has managed teams or freelance fulfillment, understands retention economics and client lifetime value, and thrives in a leadership position.About the Role:• Develop the Strategy: Create core service tiers, scope of deliverables per tier, pricing structure, packaging for both upsell and new acquisition, and approve and revise processes.• Department Build-Out: Create onboarding systems, client workflows, SOPs, templates, reporting structure, approval processes, and internal team or freelancer model.• Team & Fulfillment Management: Source and manage freelancers, delegate execution efficiently, own QA, briefs, and sign-off, and build a scalable internal structure.• Client Strategy & Delivery Oversight: Lead email/SMS strategy per client, flow and campaign planning, account performance and retention reporting, communication and approvals, and upselling existing clients.Compensation:$48,000/year (paid as a full-time contractor) + uncapped earnings through a predictable monthly rev share based on package tier, structured per retained client you manage.
