You'll work directly with our researchers to execute a unique qualitative research project on driver behavior. For this project, you will meet UX researchers and study participants designated locations in Sao Paulo and will ride in the participant's vehicle to provide technical support and general assistance to the UX researcher during the drives. You MUST be willing to do this to be considered for this role. After the driving portion, from December 1-11, you will assist the researchers with data analysis and preparation of the final report for this project. This is a Sao Paulo based contract position. Occasionally, you will be required to work after standard work hours, including weekends. Key Responsibilities Work closely with UX researchers for the project, and ride with the researcher in a participant's vehicle for 3-6 hours per day from December 1 to December 11. After December 11, you will assist researchers with analysis and translation of data captured during the drives. Assist project team members with the logistical operations of the research program, such as maintaining cameras and other equipment, uploading video files, helping schedule drives with participants. Analyze responses from participant videos and transcripts, surveys, and other study data to develop key research findings and recommendations for the client Under the guidance of UX researchers, help create deliverables for the client including scorecards, toplines, reports, and slide decks. Basic Qualifications 1-5 years of experience working as technical support, customer support or a research analyst in a research setting or at a tech company. Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese with strong written and verbal communications in both. Ability to talk to strangers, make them feel at ease, and quickly build a rapport. Experience data collection, analysis, and interpretation. High attention to detail and ability to recognize patterns and anomalies in data. Collaborative attitude and ability to foster a positive work environment. Very comfortable using emerging technologies and different software systems. High comfort working with Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar products. A positive, curious attitude and willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications Undergraduate degree in computer science, psychology, research methods, human computer interaction, sociology, or related field. Previous experience conducting research fieldwork for international clients. Previous work with early-to-mid stage startups or top tech companies.
