Chance to lead and mentor a team of sales and use tax professionals.What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)Manage complex Indirect tax audits and recovery of tax overpayments for corporate clientsConduct tax research projects and provide analysis on a wide range of tax issuesDeliver innovative sales and use tax planning ideas tailored to diverse industriesLead projects and supervise a team of sales and use tax professionalsIdentify complex tax issues and assist clients in navigating them effectivelyWhat is Required (Qualifications)Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related fieldCPA, CMI, or JD certificationMinimum of 5 years of state and local tax experience in a public accounting or tax services firmExperience focusing on indirect (sales & use) tax compliance and consultingStrong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple complex projectsHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)Masters degree in Accounting or a related fieldProven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staffStrong relationship management skills and experience in practice developmentAbility to attract new clients and expand services for existing clients
