PI System Engineer – CognizantWe are a global IT consulting firm working with a variety of companies across multiple industries.We are looking for a strong PI System Engineer to expand our PI System Managed Services team.In This Role, You WillAnalyze, propose, and implement solutions to client challenges in the area of real-time data integration.Provide PI System guidelines and best practices.Implement and manage the managed services solutions for the customer's portfolio.Optimize PI System performance, monitor system health, and address related issues.Support colleagues with day-to-day work and troubleshoot issues escalated to you.Align with customers on initiatives and improvements.Draft technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.What You Need To Have To Be ConsideredStrong understanding of the PI System architecture.Extensive PI System experience (PI DA, AF, Analytics, Interface, Batch interfaces).Higher academic or technical education in IT, engineering, or automation with extensive experience with PI System tools (integration, installation, configuration, support).Advanced English proficiency.Enjoy customer interaction.Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.Self-motivated with a passion for quality and excellence.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Adaptability and quick learning of new technologies.These will help you stand outExperience with other historian systems (Ignition, IP21).Experience with SCADA or OPC servers (Kepware, DeltaV, Rockwell).Experience with third-party tools (SynTQ, Seeq, Qlik, SIMCA).Experience with reporting tools.Programming and integration skills.cGXP experience.Work ModelWe strive to provide flexibility wherever possible.Based on the role's business requirements, this is a remote position open to qualified applicants in any city or state.Regardless of your working arrangement, we support a healthy work-life balance through various wellbeing programs.We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact.Even if you only meet the minimum requirements, consider applying—and think about how your transferable experiences and unique skills can add value to this role.#J-*****-Ljbffr
