Why consider this opportunityAnticipated salary range between $130,734 - $153,804, depending on qualificationsExcellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and no out-of-pocket premiums for employees and dependentsFlexible/Hybrid work environment allowing for remote employmentOpportunities for career advancement and professional development within a supportive organizationWork on complex and high-visibility projects that impact the community and environmentCommitment to operational excellence and core organizational valuesWhat to Expect (Job Responsibilities)Lead and manage all aspects of highly complex engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with budget and scheduleSupervise and mentor engineering staff, overseeing project resource allocation and staff productivityEvaluate and provide recommendations on the condition and capacity of port facilities and structuresDirect the work of consultants, ensuring high-quality deliverables and compliance with project scopeCoordinate construction activities to minimize disruption to port and tenant operations, monitoring progress and managing payment processesWhat is Required (Qualifications)Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field; master\u2019s degree preferredWashington Licensed Professional Engineer or Architect certification is required; Structural Engineering license preferredMinimum of six (6) years of experience in project management, engineering design, estimating, and construction managementProven skills in leadership, project management, and multi-discipline team coordinationExperience in the Port and/or Maritime industry is preferredHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)Experience managing project management and engineering professionalsFamiliarity with the design and project management of marine facilities, including cargo terminals and docksAdvanced knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to port projectsStrong negotiation and facilitation skillsDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive leaders and stakeholdersWe prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
