This role leads a Medicare Sales Field team that sells individual health plan products and educates beneficiaries, with additional lines including Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, and Prescription plans.This field-based position is located in the Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville, TN area.
You must reside in Nashville, TN area or be willing to relocate to the area.ResponsibilitiesCoach, mentor, educate, motivate and train a team of sales individuals.Understand the market, resolve operational problems, and provide creative sales solutions while following CMS guidelines.Cultivate, maintain, and build relationships with Humana's customers, internal and external partners, and the community through telephonic, virtual, and face-to-face interactions.Develop marketing budgets and identify branding opportunities.Required QualificationsMust reside in the Nashville, TN area or be willing to relocateActive Health & Life Insurance Licenses2 or more years of sales leadership experience6 or more years of experience working in the insurance industryMust be able to travel up to 50% of the timeAbility to lead a team of sales associates and train them in successful sales techniques, educational presentation skills, utilizing technology tools, and building relationships with communities and medical providersStrong aptitude for technology with proficiency in MS Office products, various CRM platforms, and iPhone app capabilitiesMust be a strong leader and strong producerStrong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsAbility to adapt and overcome when necessaryCommunity Engagement/Grassroots experience in marketing Medicare plans in the communityMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesThis role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and requires a valid state driver\'s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limitsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's DegreePrior experience working in Medicare and the health solutions industryEngaged with the community through service, organizations, activities and volunteerismProject management background or certification a plusBilingual with the ability to speak, read and write without limitations or assistanceHumana PerksBase salary with a competitive commission structureMedical, Dental, Vision and a variety of other supplemental insurancesPaid time off (PTO) & Paid Holidays401(k) retirement savings planTuition reimbursement and/or scholarships for qualifying dependent childrenAnd much more
