Inside Sales/Sales Assistant

Position OverviewWe are seeking a technically-minded Sales Assistant with expertise in customs clearance and logistics to support our growing operations in Brazil.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the machinery, equipment, or AWP (Access Work Platform) industry, combined with strong sales coordination skills.
This role requires fluency in English to facilitate seamless communication with our global supply chain partners.ResponsibilitiesSales Support & Customer Service: Process sales orders, prepare quotations, track order fulfillment; Maintain accurate customer records in CRM; Provide technical sales support for machinery/AWP products; Generate weekly sales reports and market intelligence updates; Other sales support work.Customs & Logistics Management: Prepare and verify import/export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates); Ensure full compliance with ANVISA, INMETRO and other Brazilian regulatory requirements; Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to optimize clearance processes; Track shipments and resolve logistics delays or customs holdups.Cross-functional Coordination: Serve as liaison between Brazilian customers and international suppliers; Communicate technical specifications and shipping requirements in English; Support warranty claims and aftersales service coordination.Requirements3+ years experience in sales support, preferably in machinery/equipment/AWP industryWorking knowledge of Brazilian import regulations (NCM codes, II, IPI, ICMS taxes)Experience with Mercosur trade agreements and special import regimes (extariff, etc.)Fluent English (B2+ level) for international correspondenceProficient in MS Office (advanced Excel) and CRM systemsPreferred: Technical understanding of construction equipment or aerial work platformsFamiliarity with industrial parts/components terminologyExperience using ERP systems for order managementSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOtherIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting
