join our team.The successful candidate will provide legal advice and support across thebusiness, with a particular focus on commercial contracts, payment systems, financial settlements, andother legal matters relevant to a fast-paced corporate environment.Key Responsibilities• Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service-level agreements (SLAs), NDAs, and partnership agreements.• Payment Systems & Settlements: Provide legal advice and support on matters related to payment systems, transaction processing, settlements, and compliance with applicable financial and regulatory frameworks.• Regulatory Compliance and Data Protection: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including data protection and financial services regulations.• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks, propose mitigation strategies, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain risk-aware business operations.• Dispute Resolution: Manage and support dispute resolution processes, including pre-litigation guidance, settlement negotiations, and coordination with external counsel as required.• Corporate Governance: Support the organization's governance framework by preparing board resolutions, maintaining corporate records, and advising on legal entity management.• Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Compliance, HR, and Business Development teams to provide integrated legal support across the organization.• Training & Policies: Develop and deliver internal training on legal and regulatory matters, and draft or update company policies and procedures.Key Requirements• Professional Qualification: Attorney-at-Law (Sri Lanka) and holder of a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.• Experience: 3–5 years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably gained through a combination of law firm and in-house corporate roles.• Competence: Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks, work independently, and exercise sound judgment when making decisions aligned with business and legal considerations.• Expertise: Proven experience in commercial contracts, payment systems, and settlement processes.• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with the legal and regulatory environment governing financial services and/or technology companies is an advantage.• Skills: Excellent analytical, drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities.• Work Approach: Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.• Professional Qualities: Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives while maintaining a high level of integrity, discretion, and
