Strategic Security Advisor

As a strategic advisor, you will play a pivotal role in designing and deploying preventative security solutions.This platform will significantly enhance the client's security posture across diverse cloud and hybrid environments.You will conduct in-depth interviews and workshops to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for the preventative security platform.You will untangle complex current-state security processes and identify critical gaps, envisioning future-state solutions that align with the client's strategic objectives.You will define and prioritize security controls, policies, and procedures, ensuring they contribute directly to the platform's overall effectiveness.You will create comprehensive and well-structured documentation, including business requirement documents and functional specification documents.
Your detail-oriented approach will ensure precision and clarity in solution design.
You will collaborate closely with the client's engineering team and technical resources to translate documented requirements into robust technical designs and solutions.
You will participate actively in solution design and architecture discussions, providing a strong business perspective and ensuring that proposed solutions are truly outcomes-driven and aligned with the client's strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with 8+ years of experience working as a business analyst, preferably in client-facing roles within a consulting environment, ideally with a focus on cybersecurity or platform development.The candidate will also have proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for complex software platforms, a track record of driving outcomes and delivering tangible value to clients, familiarity with various cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure architectures, proficiency in using business analysis tools, ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced consulting environment, consulting experience, and advanced English language skills.Nearsure is dedicated to solving complex business challenges through cutting-edge technology and tailored solutions, inviting passionate individuals to join its dynamic team and shape the future of technology.
