About the OpportunityAre you a scientist at heart, passionate about genomics and the power of technology to transform healthcare?At MGI , we combine scientific excellence with innovation to redefine what's possible in genetic sequencing and automation.We're seeking a NGS Technical Sales Specialist who blends a strong scientific foundation with a consultative commercial mindset — someone who can speak the language of researchers, understand their challenges, and guide them toward solutions that accelerate discovery.What You'll DoDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan for MGI's sequencing and automation portfolio.Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within universities, hospitals, research institutes, and biotech companies.Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders and research partners.Act as a Scientific Partner.Provide consultative pre- and post-sales support to ensure customers achieve optimal experimental outcomes.Collaborate with Field Application Scientists to deliver a seamless scientific and technical experience.Conduct presentations, workshops, and seminars to demonstrate the impact of MGI technologies on research and clinical applications.Stay ahead of market trends in genomics, molecular biology, and precision medicine to identify new growth opportunities.Represent MGI at scientific conferences, trade shows, and regional events as a trusted partner in the life sciences community.Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing, and R&D to align customer feedback with product innovation.Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline data, and customer records using CRM tools (Salesforce).Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet and exceed objectives.Who You AreA scientist with commercial curiosity — passionate about both research and relationship building.Strong communicator who can translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling discussions.Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.Driven by the opportunity to make genomics more accessible and impactful for all.What You BringScientific ExpertiseSolid understanding of genomics, molecular biology, or biotechnology.Hands-on experience with NGS workflows, DNA / RNA sequencing, or lab automation.Commercial Experience5+ years of experience in life science sales, business development, or field-based scientific roles.Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales goals through consultative, science-driven engagement.Education & SkillsBachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field required; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.English : Advanced | Spanish : Intermediate to Advanced.Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel up to 50% across Brazil.What We OfferCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentives.Comprehensive health and dental insurance.Meal stipend and fitness allowance to support wellbeing.About MGIMGI is a global leader in genomics innovation, delivering advanced sequencing and automation solutions that empower scientists and healthcare professionals worldwide.Our mission is to make high-quality, affordable genomics accessible to all — enabling discoveries that improve lives and transform the future of medicine.Join us and help shape the next generation of genomics.#J-*****-Ljbffr
