Role: IT Tech Application Support Analyst / Production Support Analyst
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration:
Work Time zone: US PST
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% remote (resource can work from anywhere in LATAM region)

Responsibilities : Field support inquiries and conduct initial analysis of reported issues to determine severity. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to identify root causes and evaluate potential solutions. Create and manage tickets for production support, ensuring compliance with SOX and regulatory procedures by working closely with Change and Release control. Communicate with application users regarding system status and address specific concerns raised by them. Develop expertise in applications and business processes to develop and execute test and release plans. Manage various environments (database, web, application servers) for development, testing, and releases, including coordination and assignment as needed. Participate in change control management and release pipeline. Assist with infrastructure projects, evaluating and addressing their impact on application suite and user base. Create and maintain documentation for applications, processes, and projects. Identify opportunities for process improvements and workflow automations. Maintain a workboard (in Asana) to keep management and project leaders on status, efforts, and issues. Required Skills: Have an understanding of server and network architecture. Have an understanding of web development structures. Familiarity with development, testing, and release cycles in an Agile development environment. Organizational skills, to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines. Willingness to occasionally work outside of regular business hours for critical production support issues. Attention to detail and precision. Be comfortable with reading and writing requirements and test scripts. Strong communication skills, both with end-users and with development groups. Bilingualism (Spanish) Nice to have: Microsoft Azure MS SQL (T-SQL) Asana, Slack (Workflow builder, etc.) Service-Now PowerShell Office 365, including Excel macros ETL tools such as Alteryx Familiarity with signal distribution technologies and/or broadcast industry Experience with Automation and Workflow/Process tools Development experience with OO (Java, .Net, C#...)
