Position Overview: As the Country Manager for Brazil and Portugal, your role involves spearheading growth, overseeing operations, and fostering relationships within the local cryptocurrency market. Ideal candidates should possess hands-on marketing expertise, prior experience in crypto management, and fluency in both Portuguese and English. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and products, coupled with proactive marketing capabilities, are essential for success in this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the strategic business plan for Brazil and Portugal, including market expansion, user acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of operations, including customer support, marketing campaigns, and partnership development.
  • Drive brand awareness and engagement through targeted marketing initiatives, social media channels, and community events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and industry partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and compliance, to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to the local team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role, with at least 10 years of experience in marketing and/or business development.
  • Prior experience as a crypto country manager or in the cryptocurrency industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the Brazilian and Portuguese market, consumer behavior, and regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
  • Fluent in both Portuguese and English languages, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
