Market Intelligence Specialist

**Description**:
Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Market Intelligence Specialist - Crop Protection serving the Brazil and Paraguay Commercial Unit. The Market Intelligence Specialist will partner with the Crop Protection leadership and key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate those needs into actionable market insights. This position will be responsible for analyzing and tracking market trends, identifying market opportunities and risks, benchmarking, as well as scorecard development and tracking.
**Qualifications**:
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring, collecting, analyzing, and forecasting market trends across the agriculture industry with an emphasis on Crop Protection. Provide shorter-term outlook focusing primarily in the 1-to-5-year horizon.
- Deliver actionable market insights to Brazil & Paraguay leadership and key stakeholders to support business decisions.
- Align and support the development of the market analysis strategy for the Brazil & Paraguay Commercial Unit including comprehensive calendar of deliverables and timelines for key milestones.
- Subject matter expert for internal and external data analytics and insights relevant to Corteva's Crop Protection business in the region.
- Coordinate with portfolios and sales areas to consolidate and present a wholistic view including benchmarking versus competitors using various metrics including but not limited to market share, key crops, market segments, product performance, etc.
- Delivers insights, trends, and relevant content to stakeholders through reports, white papers, "stories", presentations, models, dashboards, etc. Convert complex data into understandable and easy to use formats.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining respective dashboards and scorecards in accordance with finance to monitor business performance.
Education and experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture/Business/Economics/Marketing or other related discipline is required;
- Minimum of five years industry or relevant experience;
- Prior experience with market research and/or business intelligence is highly desirable;
- Advanced in English is mandatory;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel;
- Power BI knowledge is highly desirable;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create networks and lead by influence.
- Ability to see the big picture with understanding of short and long-term impacts of decisions.
- Must have strong business acumen and market understanding. Familiarity with agricultural markets (forecasting, value chains, major suppliers, etc.) such as key economic and competitive trends.
- Strong self-management, personal leadership, and listening skills required. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills accompanied by strong presentation skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail with an above average understanding of systems, processes, and programs including experience in Power BI data visualization tools to present results in a compelling manner and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Macros.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated project management.
