**This is a contract position for 8 weeks for approximately 20 hours per week**
**Location**: This role requires that you are based within EST +2 or EST -5
We are looking for a part-time consultant to support our expansion efforts in Brazil. You will be working in our Global Operations Team who are responsible for setting up our employment infrastructure across the world in a scalable and automated way, specifically with our Direct Expansion team.
**What you'll do...**:
- Working with our in house Legal team and the Global Operations team to create v1 of the internal knowledge base for Brazil
- Advise on and source vendors (particularly for H&S, benefits and insurance) for Brazil per criteria set by country owner
- Advise on the design of operating processes in the country (HR, Payroll)
- Serve as a local point of contact in Brazil where required during the term of the contract
**What we're looking for...**:
**Must have**:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Brazilian employment regulations and benefits marketplace
- Business level fluency in Portuguese and English
- Experience expanding into Brazil for multiple organizations
**Ideal**:
- 5+ years experience in HR
- Experience working for tech companies within Brazil
- Creative problem solving for remote worker set up
