Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the development, execution, and optimization strategy for growing Agoda's new & emerging marketing channels
  • Conduct end-to-end analysis of large, complex datasets related to channel performance, user behavior, and market trends, translating raw data into actionable insights
  • Develop hypotheses, design experiments (e.g., A/B tests), and build structured analyses to rigorously evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive data-driven decisions for channel growth
  • Partner closely with various business functions to identify opportunities, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using different techniques and tools such as SQL or Tableau
  • Communicate complex findings, performance updates, and strategic recommendations clearly and concisely to key stakeholders, including senior management
What you'll need to succeed
  • Extensive Experience: 5-7 years in a Data Analyst position or in projects involving big data — preferably in tech, e-commerce, or digital marketing. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Math or Engineering or Economics and Finance is a plus
  • Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, translate data into actionable insights, and generate impactful recommendations. Proficient in business intelligence tools and data warehouses (e.g., SQL, Tableau, MS Excel)
  • Innovative Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to tackle complex challenges in a non-linear fashion and to navigate the organization to implement innovative solutions
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and verbal abilities, with proficiency in creating impactful presentations
  • Stakeholder management: Ability to effectively communicate, influence and persuade with different levels of stakeholders (including Senior Management) with strong commercial acumen
Nice to have
  • Experience in digital or social media marketing
  • Experience in hypothesis testing frameworks, statistical analysis, and using Python/R for data manipulation and analysis
