In Brazil, we are committed to building a stronger presence and winning share in a highly dynamic and competitive market. As Regional Sales Manager – Brazil , you will own customer and channel engagement across the country, working with key OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and distribution/rep partners. This is a high-visibility role where you will directly shape our success in Latin America's largest economy, while working closely with the Americas leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the go-to-market plan for FLASH, MCU, Sensors, PMU, and DRAM products across Brazil.
- Drive growth in automotive, industrial, IoT, consumer, and computing segments through new design wins and expansion at existing accounts.
- Build strong relationships with local OEMs, Tier 1s, and design houses , with special emphasis on automotive and industrial sectors.
- Manage and motivate local sales representatives and distributors , ensuring clear targets, effective training, and accountability for design-win and revenue results.
- Navigate competitive dynamics in Brazil, including local content regulations, government programs, and procurement practices , to maximize opportunity capture.
- Maintain a healthy funnel of opportunities and provide accurate forecasting using CRM tools; flag risks and challenges early.
- Collaborate closely with global product marketing, FAEs, and operations to align resources with Brazilian customer requirements.
- Represent GigaDevice at customer meetings, negotiations, industry associations, and regional trade events.
- Travel within Brazil (and occasionally to other Latin American markets) to ensure GigaDevice maintains a strong presence.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in semiconductor sales in Brazil, ideally in FLASH, MCU, or embedded systems.
- Established network with Brazilian OEMs, Tier 1s, design houses, and local distributors/rep firms .
- Demonstrated success in securing design wins and growing revenue in automotive, industrial, IoT, or consumer markets.
- Understanding of local business practices and regulatory requirements in Brazil (e.g., import duties, government incentives, local manufacturing).
- Experience managing and driving results through independent reps and distribution partners.
- Strong CRM discipline for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English ; Spanish a plus.
- High integrity, proactive, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; other technical or business degrees considered with relevant experience.
