Murex Support Engineer

We welcome candidates from finance, technology, or mathematics backgrounds with experience in the capital markets industry. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing, formulating, proposing, developing, and contributing to overall solutions per deliverables
  • Developing requirements per given stream and according with resolution needs as they come along
  • Managing day-to-day assigned tasks to complete various deliverables
  • Contributing to support group(s) efforts in resolving requests or issues
  • Liaising with respective internal team(s) to resolve issues and necessary enhancements
  • Continuously following new Application developments, enhancements, version upgrades, regulations/practices globally, and other such items

Required skills and experience include:

  • 4+ years' experience with Murex functionalities
  • 2+ years' experience in financial markets technology
  • Hands-on experience in Murex Infra/Environment/Config Management, Back-Office Workflows, Datamart, Market Data, Batch processing, End of Day flow(s), interfaces, and Trade Life Cycle
  • Strong logical and analytical skills, being detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter
  • Good product knowledge in IRD, CRD, EQD, COM, and understanding of P&L concept overall and its components
  • Strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally
