What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Manage complex Indirect tax audits and recovery of tax overpayments for corporate clients
  • Conduct tax research projects and provide analysis on a wide range of tax issues
  • Deliver innovative sales and use tax planning ideas tailored to diverse industries
  • Lead projects and supervise a team of sales and use tax professionals
  • Identify complex tax issues and assist clients in navigating them effectively
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
  • CPA, CMI, or JD certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of state and local tax experience in a public accounting or tax services firm
  • Experience focusing on indirect (sales & use) tax compliance and consulting
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Masters degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
  • Strong relationship management skills and experience in practice development
  • Ability to attract new clients and expand services for existing clients
