About The Role

Marketplace is a team within the Rides LatAm Central Operations organization, dedicated to optimizing our operations. Earners and riders are the people who connect in our marketplace - and we manage both sides, ensuring competitive pricing and accurate pick-up times for our riders, while also guaranteeing equitable earnings and optimal utilization for our drivers. Our goal is to strike the right balance between growth and profitability, and this requires judgment to make difficult trade-offs, blending algorithms with human ingenuity, and the ability to create simplicity from complexity.

As an Operations Manager, you will support the overall marketplace strategy, develop analysis to understand a tool's performance and impact on the market, work closely with the product team to launch and analyze new marketplace tech, understand data and market strategy to allocate the budget properly, and manage campaigns or specific tools daily.

What You Will Do

  • Implement and manage pricing and incentives strategies and experiments
  • Monitor marketplace health metrics and competition moves to develop action plans to meet strategic goals
  • Develop data analysis and experiences to support business decisions regarding growth opportunities
  • Coordinate projects with cross-functional teams to improve processes and tools

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, product, strategy, or project management
  • Strong undergraduate degree, preferably in engineering, statistics, operations, or business
  • Ability to think strategically, handle ambiguity, and solve problems in a fast-paced multicultural environment
  • Data-driven decision-making mentality; able to translate quantitative findings into action plans
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • SQL and basic statistics knowledge
  • English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing experiments
  • Python knowledge
