We’re looking for a Human Resources Policies & Procedures Manager who will lead the development, communication, and upkeep of HR policies and practices across the organization. In this role, you’ll ensure our policies reflect our values, align with employment law, and are applied consistently nationwide—helping us scale with confidence while supporting an engaging workplace culture. Responsibilities

We’re seeking a Human Resources Policies & Procedures Manager to lead the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies across our U.S. locations. In this role, you’ll ensure our practices align with employment laws, reflect our culture and values, and are applied consistently. You’ll partner with HR, legal, and business leaders to keep policies clear, scalable, and accessible while serving as the internal expert on HR compliance and policy administration.

What You’ll Do

  • Create, update, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with both legal requirements and Alera Group’s culture
  • Partner cross-functionally to streamline processes and support consistency across the organization
  • Monitor changes in employment law and guide policy updates to mitigate risk
  • Provide clear training and communication for HR teams, managers, and colleagues
  • Oversee colleague handbook updates and maintain policy and procedure libraries
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, employment law, or related field (required)
  • 7+ years of experience in employment law, compliance, or HR policy management
  • HRCI or SHRM certification (required)
  • Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex compliance topics
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment

Salary range is $100K to 120K per year.
