About the role As our Finance Ops and Control Associate, you’re hands-on and detail-oriented — this is an IC role, not a managerial position, ideal for someone who loves digging into data and driving operational excellence. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance & Capital Markets to ensure financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and cost control across our fast-growing business. You’ll bring structure to our financial operations while helping automate, track, and analyze everything from expenses to compliance. Qualifications Fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and verbal. 2-5 years experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or cost control roles. Process-driven with experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls. Analytical thinking with experience in cost management, expense tracking, and variance analysis. Knowledge of Brazilian tax laws, GAAP, IFRS, and financial regulatory requirements. Tech-savvy & automation-oriented with experience in SQL, BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI), or Python. Expertise in ERP systems, and accounting software. Previous experience in high-growth credit or financial services companies is a strong advantage. Responsibilities Own day-to-day financial control and reporting. Track costs and improve expense efficiency. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure internal financial and tax compliance. Build dashboards and tools to track key KPIs (cash burn, cost-to-revenue, etc.). Automate financial workflows and improve data quality.
