The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many different hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar role(s) in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code. You will be a participant in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud first infrastructure and networks. You will have a passion for innovation and creative problem solving, as well as be adaptable to the ever-changing landscape of the corporate infrastructure environment. You will need to be a highly motivated, dependable and an experienced technologist who shares our passion and wants to be a part of a fast moving and highly execution-oriented team. You will work closely with your Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams, including, but not limited to, Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and fast learner who is looking for a supportive environment to continue to grow their IT skills and expertise. This role will report to the Director of IT. Role and Responsibilities Be customer-facing and the first line of support; own support and provide an outstanding experience to employees via Slack, Jira, etc. Proficient with macOS enterprise management; procure and deliver technology equipment. Own the onboarding experience for new employees and the offboarding process for departing employees. Design, test, build, and document programs, policies and tools; contribute improvements to existing knowledge bases. Support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.). Manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf, etc.). Own and contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta, etc.). Document solutions, create help articles, and automate repetitive tasks. Manage, respond to, and resolve critical incidents and issues to completion; prioritize help desk tickets and work on projects over sprints using Jira (agile). Set and pursue objectives and key results aligned to team and company goals. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite. Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, python, etc.; use open source tools (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.). Experience integrating SSO into Okta and creating workflows in Okta; working with APIs to integrate systems. Remote support experience across multiple countries/time zones; familiarity with hardware shipping and customs. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts clearly and empathetically. Strong documentation, tickets, email, and Slack communication skills. Proficiency in security practices, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching), and OSI model troubleshooting. Ability to self-manage, scope projects, and coordinate across multiple teams. Nice to Haves Some familiarity with AWS; GAM and CLI experience; Jamf certifications, Okta certifications, Google Workspace certifications.
