Overview Managers of Information Technology, Ledn is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, while also helping end users. The Opportunity You will be a participant in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You will work closely with Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams including Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. You will be customer-facing, the first line of support; you own support and you are passionate about providing an outstanding support experience to our employees via Slack, Jira, etc. Key responsibilities include: You will be responsible for procuring and delivering technology equipment. You will own the onboarding experience for all new employees and the retrieval of all outgoing employees. You will design, test, build, and document programs, policies and tools; contribute improvements to knowledge bases. You will support and manage SaaS applications such as Google Workspace (GSuite), Slack, Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, Okta, Jira, etc. You will manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools (MDM, EMM, Jamf, etc.). You will own and contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta, etc.). You will detail solutions, craft help articles and automate busywork. Manage, respond to, and resolve critical incidents and issues as needed, through to completion. Balance help desk tickets while prioritising effectively and work on projects over sprints with Jira and agile methods. Set and pursue objectives and key results aligned to team and company goals. What You Bring To Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite. Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, python, etc. Experience with open-source tools such as Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc. Ability to integrate SSO into Okta and create workflows in Okta. Experience with APIs and integrating systems. Remote support experience across multiple countries/time zones; familiarity with shipping and receiving hardware and customs. Excellent communication skills across media; ability to explain complex topics clearly and calmly. Strong writing skills for tickets, email, Slack; clear, friendly, concise communication with cultural sensitivity. A commitment to security, including knowledge of PGP. Understanding of networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching). Ability to methodically troubleshoot problems using OSI layers; capable of self-management and prioritising across multiple teams. Strong organizational and task-management skills; comfortable dealing with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete data. Nice To Haves Some familiarity with AWS; prior usage is acceptable without certifications. Experience with GAM and command-line interfaces to improve efficiency. Jamf certifications, Okta certifications, Google Workspace certifications.
