Job Title: Business Development Manager – Sustainability Location: Brazil – Remote Employment Type: Full-time About the Role BSI is seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM), Sustainability to maintain and grow relationships with large, strategically important clients. You will coordinate BSI’s global efforts to deliver assurance solutions focused on sustainability, greenhouse gas (GHG) verification, reduction, and neutrality. In this role, you will lead account planning, achieve sales targets by expanding existing accounts and securing new business, and provide thought leadership within the sustainability space. You will also support sales initiatives across the Americas and actively engage in industry events. In your day to day, you will be responsible for : Achieve assigned sales targets and drive profitable revenue growth. Develop and manage relationships with strategic accounts and senior business leaders. Retain existing accounts through ongoing engagement and partnership with operational teams. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand BSI’s sustainability client base. Negotiate contracts and close deals, integrating requirements into operational delivery. Support other sales professionals in selling sustainability and GHG audit services. Collaborate with global marketing, product development, and sales teams on priorities and initiatives. Participate in industry associations, conferences, and events to provide thought leadership. Conduct account health checks, review pricing annually, and facilitate issue resolution. Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM data to support business planning and customer service. Analyze market conditions, competitors, and customer insights to enhance sales performance. To be successful in the role, you will have : Bachelor’s degree in business, chemical engineer or related field (or equivalent experience). At least 5 years of experience in solutions sales and business development. Experience selling assessment or audit solutions within professional services. Proven ability to engage senior‑level management and manage multinational client relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce (preferred). Strong skills in communication, persuasion, relationship‑building, and performance monitoring.
