Our clients include the largest energy, financial and service companies served by our growing team of over 750 industry experts.**The Role****Responsibilities**- **Account Management & Farming**:- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and challenges.- Identify growth opportunities within assigned accounts to expand product and service usage.- Develop tailored strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and maximize account potential.- **Sales and Business Development**:- Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.- Drive revenue growth through a consultative sales approach, showcasing the value of Rystad Energy’s solutions.- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.- **Client Support & Collaboration**:- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and effective communication.- Work closely with internal teams, including client success, research, analytics, and consulting, to deliver superior client experiences.- Address and resolve client inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly.- **Market Insights**:- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Rystad Energy’s offerings to provide strategic insights to clients.- **General**:- Present the company, our research and services in person and web conference- Build an effective value proposition for each individual client type- Network at industry events to expand our brand- Manage interactions through the company’s CRM system- Communicate internally with research, sales colleagues and management on actives and results- Provide feedback and suggestions on product enhancement and new product ideas- Ensure new clients are on-boarded properly- Basic interaction with our external local accounting and legal advisors**Qualifications and Skills**- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Energy, or a related field.- 1-3 years of experience in account management, sales, or a client-facing role, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector.- Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of achieving targets.- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships.- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.- Negotiating with procurement and/or senior management- Experience with energy-focused data and software sales related to energy supply analysis, modelling, screening and valuations- Building value propositions for our databases based upon specific personas and company types- A strong existing network and the ability to quickly and effectively build new networks- Using standard Office tools and CRM systems- Sales pipeline management and robust forecasting**Requirements**:- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office SuiteFluency in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus
