Join our team

As an XTS Design Assistant Engineer , you will work in a team to develop and support products within the Technology and Projects groups. You will perform scientific and engineering efforts related to the design of new products and services, as well as new designs for customer projects. You will deliver projects through the stages of design, verification, manufacturing, and, if necessary, commercialization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading cost-out and trade-off exercises using lean and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize product cost and manufacturability.
  • Promoting effective communication across stakeholders and disciplines.
  • Working collaboratively with a global engineering community.
  • Communicating fluently in Portuguese and English.
  • Developing project deliverables such as manufacturing drawings, 3D models, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, and reports.

Qualifications:

  • In progress Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Fluent or intermediate proficiency in English.
  • Experience with subsea project/product engineering, especially pre-salt and deepwater Christmas Tree systems.
  • Knowledge of vertical and horizontal Christmas Trees, Tubing Head Spools, Tubing Hangers, and related tooling.
  • Manufacturing and cost-driven mindset.
  • Proactive and engaged attitude.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with engineering databases (SAP or Team Center).
  • Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks, Visio, MSP).
