Join our team

As an XTS Design Assistant Engineer, you will work as part of a team to develop and support products within the Technology and Projects groups. Work is typically performed under the supervision of a Lead Engineer and within defined parameters.

As XTS Design Assistant Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with a global engineering community.
  • Communicating with team members in both Portuguese and English.
  • Developing project deliverables, such as manufacturing drawings, 3D models, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, reports, etc.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in progress.
  • Be fluent or intermediate in written and spoken English.
  • Have experience with Subsea Project/Product Designs, especially pre-salt and deepwater Christmas Tree systems.
  • Possess engineering background in Christmas Tree, Connections, and Distribution Systems for subsea equipment. Knowledge of Christmas Tree, Tubing Head Spool, Tubing Hanger, Connections, and UTAs is required.
  • Have a manufacturing and cost-driven mindset.

Desirable

  • Experience setting up and configuring Engineering Databases (SAP or Team Center).
  • Skills in engineering software (AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks, Visio, MSP).
