Overview

As an XTS Design Assistant Engineer, you will work as part of a team to develop and support products within the Technology and Project groups. Work is typically performed under the supervision of a Lead Engineer and within defined parameters.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a global engineering community.
  • Communicate with the team in both Portuguese and English.
  • Develop project deliverables, such as manufacturing drawings, 3D models, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, reports, and related documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (in progress).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English or at least intermediate proficiency.
  • Experience with Subsea Project/Product Designs, with emphasis on pre-salt and deepwater Christmas Tree systems.
  • Background in Christmas Tree, Connections and Distribution Systems engineering for subsea equipment. Knowledge of Christmas Tree, Tubing Head Spool, Tubing Hanger, Connections and/or UTAs is required.
  • A manufacturing- and cost-driven mindset.
Desirable
  • Experience with engineering databases setup and configuration (SAP or Team Center).
  • Experience with engineering software (AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks, Visio, MSP).
